Dave Liske is the owner of Frog Leg Productions, providing audio and video services, consulting, training, software development and web site design. A former author and technical reviewer for computer programming books for Wrox Press in Birmingham, UK, his experience also includes working as a calibration systems technician and programmer for the U.S. Navy, and developing software, designing databases, and developing PLC-based robotics systems for the Toyota Technical Center in Ann Arbor. Dave has also been a technical guru at the School of Art & Design at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor campus. His Help Technology Centre specializes in HTML Help techniques and tools for Visual Basic, VBA, and Delphi developers.

Dave has 4 kids from a previous marriage, who all love spending time with his wife Mary. He cooked in various professional kitchens from 1979 through 1984, and has happily spent time since 2002 re-learning long-dormant cooking skills. He and Mary live 1000 feet from Lake Erie in southeastern Michigan with her youngest sons, four cats, a one-eyed Jack Russell with a heart condition, a year-old spastic Pomeranian, three computers, a massive book collection, and more unique coffee mugs than should be allowed for one person.

Dave's cooking blog is at http://www.blogsmonroe.com/food/.

Mary Liske is an RN by trade, but instead of practicing nursing at a hospital or other facility, she has been teaching a Nurse Aide program at a Career High School for the past ten years. She has 2 sons of her own from a previous marriage. Her oldest graduated from high school in 2004 and is the one who seems to be the gentle leader of the other teenagers in the community. Her youngest makes her laugh every moment of every day, particularly when he beats Dave with pillows. She loves her students as if they were her own, staying in contact with them during summer hiatus as well as during the school year. Her house is constantly full of teenagers from the community. Parents know that if they're looking for their kids, Mary's safe and clean house is one of the first places to call.
